    Mr. Serena - Carpentry Instructor

The Carpentry Shop at NWCTC is always alive with a smell of sawdust, ringing of hammers, and the
    buzzing of saws.

A carpenters main purpose is to build or repair wooden structures, furnishings, draw blueprints, design
projects, and finish items such as doors, windows, handrails, and cabinets. At NWCTC we teach you
home construction from the ground up. From the purchase of property and how to go about that purchase
to the very last cap that you put on your roof.

At NWCTC the Carpentry shop works closely with other trade shops in the process to complete
home construction and other projects. We also try to take part in a community service projects every
year that they are available. We also strive to teach the students to be professional in whatever their
    future might hold.
