This Aspiring Ed. Program is designed for students interested in becoming teachers, counselors, or other professionals who work with children and youth. Through engaging, hands-on experiences, students learn the foundations of teaching, classroom management, child development, and instructional strategies—all while gaining valuable real-world experience in local schools and early learning settings.

One of the most exciting benefits of the Aspiring Ed. Program is the opportunity to earn college credits from one of seven local partner colleges and universities. These credits can save students thousands of dollars in tuition and allow them to get a jumpstart on their college education. By the time they graduate high school, participating students can enter postsecondary education ahead of their peers—saving both time and money on their path to becoming future educators.

Students in the program also build leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, preparing them not only for college but for meaningful, long-term success in the education field. Whether you dream of teaching in a classroom, working in early childhood education, or supporting student learning in other ways, the Aspiring Ed. Program at NWCTC helps you turn your passion into a profession.

Invest in your future—and the future of education—by joining the Aspiring Ed. Program today!
